The Financial Monitoring Unit of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Japan Financial Intelligence Centre (JAFIC) of the National Public Safety Commission of Japan (The FIU of Japan) entered into an MOU concerning the exchange of financial intelligence related to money laundering, terrorist financing and related crimes.
FMU now has signed 17 MoUs with counterparts FIUs and aims to continue expanding and strengthening its international bilateral relationships with strategically important counterpart FIUs.
