November – December 2019 : Financial Monitoring Unit (FMU) in coordination with United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) conducted Capacity Building and Awareness Sessions on AML / CFT for Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs) and Non-Profit Organizations (NPO) by at Quetta (4-5 November), Karachi (21-22 November), Peshawar (5-6 December) and Lahore (19-20 December). The participants were apprised on AML / CFT regime of Pakistan, FATF Requirements and the functions of FMU. The number of participants from DNFBPs and NPOs attended the sessions and shown their interest to conduct session awareness sessions in future.
